We’ve just added Ayakara, Declan Welsh, Have Mercy Las Vegas, Louie and The Lochbacks, Rascalton, Spring Break, and The Van T’s to our scorching Barn Stage lineup.

Let’s get familiar with the new additions…

AYAKARA is formed of five lads from Edinburgh’s Leith. Their development has been nothing but astronomical. Ayakara quickly gained a reputation over Scotland for putting on energetic, sweat-inducing live performances and producing solid music releases.

Declan Welsh & The Decadent West

Speaking truth to power, making poignant observations on everyday life, and packing in an electric live show to boot, Declan Welsh and the Decadent West are here to start a revolution.

Have Mercy Las Vegas

Think deep Scottish roots, razor sharp Americana, trad and contemporary Appalachia embellished with touches of folk and country blues – do that and you’re halfway there. To complete the picture, add blisteringly tight musicianship and perfectly interlaced harmonies

Louie and The Lochbacks

With members of Be Charlotte, Pronto Mama, and Hector Bizerk, new acapella group Louie and the Lochbacks are something of a supergroup. Their bright harmonies and Louie’s sharp and visceral verse is bringing something new to Scottish poetry and providing an exciting and more contemplative counterpoint to Louie’s work as the front man of Hector Bizerk.

Glasgow four-piece with a no-nonsense punk rock aggro flare sound. The band’’s debut EP will drop in August on Public Records. Recorded at 7 West Studios with Chris Marshall and Johnny Madden (Baby Strange) co-producing, the band have taken their sound to a new level with this recording. The guitars are bigger, the vocals are more perverse.

Spirng Break

Spring Break are a vaguely outrageous, psychedelic 3 piece folk funk outfit, hand crafting screwball anthems deep in the Highlands of Scotland. Amalgamating a wealth of experience in vocal performance and musicianship, whilst fusing the hip hop languages of scratching, beat-boxing and lucid lyricism.

The Van T’s

Caustic, jagged yet endearingly melodic, The Van T’s are one of the most exciting young bands to emerge from the Scottish music scene in quite some time. Waves of gutsy, riff-driven guitar soundscapes wash over you and are accented beautifully by a rhythm section creating foot-tapping, hip-shaking grooves, neatly fused together by the effected harmonised vocals bleeding out from the speakers.

The Barn Stage is packed with some of the hottest emerging Scottish talent. Previously announced bands include: Be Charlotte, Bloodlines, BooHooHoo, Indigo Velvet, Kvasir, Pronto Mama, Schnarff Schnarff, SKJØR, The Vegan Leather, and Wuh Oh.
